EVCA comment letter on the proposed rulemaking concerning prohibitions and restrictions on proprietary trading and certain interets in, and relationships with, hedge funds and private equity funds

The Public Affairs Executive of the EVCA has responded to proposed regulations to implement the Volcker Rule, expressing its concern that the law could prevent banks from diversifying their asset bases to include long-term investments such as private equity.
